 NASCAR Nationwide Series regulars Brendan Gaughn and Scott Wimmer took some time out of their personal apperance schedule to go drifting for some small flounders and sharks along the Third Island. Tommy and Rumble, from FM 99, along with Chris Reckling from WAVY 10 sports came along for the comic relief. A great time was had by all and Wimmer is claiming he will be back for summer tunas and fall stripers.
On the offshore side, deep dropping continues to be successfull and the bluefins have been caught up to the 950 line as well. There are commercial reports of Bluefins inside mixed with the bluefish. We will be fishing offshore next week so check back for next Thursdays report.
