Virginia Beach Fishing Report, Tunas, Tunas, Tunas

After a long wait this spring, the yellowfin tunas have finally made a showing here east of the inlet. The past week has produced some great catches of tunas with small to 50# fish being the norm.The seasons first Big Eye tuna was wieghed at Fishermnas Wharf, topping the scale at 186#.If the bait concentrations hold these fish here, we might just have an excellent couple of weeks of tuna fishing.
